The MindDoc App is classified as a risk class I medical device under Annex VIII, Rule 11 of the MDR (REGULATION (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices).

Intended Medical Purpose:

The MindDoc monitoring and self-management application serves as a continuous long-term sign and symptom monitoring tool for common mental disorders. This protocol is further enhanced by courses and exercises, empowering users to identify patterns in their symptom trajectories, which can be shared with mental health care providers for evaluation and utilized for self-management.

Therefore, MindDoc:

<ul>
 <li>Offers users guidance in assessing their general emotional health, which can help determine the necessity of consulting a mental health care provider. The results obtained from the protocol can supplement a mental health care provider's overall diagnostic and clinical assessment.</li>
 <li>Enables users to independently manage symptoms and related issues by providing evidence-based courses and exercises that are both transdiagnostic and disorder-specific. These resources aid in recognizing, understanding, and effectively coping with signs and symptoms of mental disorders through self-initiated behavior change.</li>
</ul>

Please note that the application is not intended to replace a diagnosis by a mental health care provider but rather serve as an orientation tool to assess the need for consultation. The results from the medical device should be included in diagnostic processes by a mental health care provider.

The MindDoc Plus subscription renews automatically on a monthly or annual basis, unless cancelled via Account Settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Payment is charged to your iTunes account. The unused portion of any free trial will be forfeited upon purchase.
